HtlApp is the guest platform on the screens you already own: live TV from all over the world, streaming, dining, room controls and your brand.
Buy online, run it live tonight.
The guest operating system for hospitality.
One platform, every screen of the property - hotel, yacht or home.
This is the room, the moment a guest walks in. Your name, your photography, your menu - and a QR code that turns their phone into the remote, or joins them to your Wi-Fi without typing a password.

Bought like software.
Running on a stick.
No proprietary hardware, no site survey, no sales cycle. HtlApp is purchased directly from the LookVay platform and runs on a short list of tested, certified devices you can buy in any electronics shop.
Buy it online
Pick a plan, pay by card, and your dashboard opens with a ready-made hotel board - pages, menus and channels already in place. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial: one licensed room with TV, plus the main display, always included. Test it on your own PC first, straight in the browser - no hardware needed to begin.
Plug in the screen
HtlApp runs on an Amazon Fire TV Stick HD or 4K, an NVIDIA Shield, or directly on the TV's own Google TV - one LookVay Signage app on all of them*, or simply a browser on tablets. It boots straight into the room, fullscreen and remote-ready, and finds its way back after every power cut.
Welcome your guests
Check a guest in from any browser and the room greets them by name, in their language - menu, channels and services dressed in your colors, in real time over every screen of the room. At checkout, the room forgets them completely.
* The LookVay Signage app is not published in the device stores. It installs once per screen with the device in developer mode - the same file on Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield and Google TV.
Amazon Fire TV Stick HD or 4K
The workhorse: HD or 4K, hidden behind any HDMI TV. A whole floor deployed in an afternoon.
NVIDIA Shield
For flagship suites: 4K HDR and effortless power, in the cabinet or behind the wall.
Or the TV itself
Google TV and Android TV sets run the LookVay app with no extra device at all. We test and certify Sony's current professional range - the screen becomes the player.
HtlApp runs on Fire TV, Google TV and Android TV, but the devices we test and certify are three: the Fire TV Stick HD and 4K, the NVIDIA Shield, and Sony’s current professional TVs. Older or budget Android TV hardware is not fast enough to run it well - start from the certified list, or try HtlApp in a browser first.
Everything a guest
wants from the TV.
Are your guests complaining they cannot find channels in their own language? The TV stops being a lobby brochure. It becomes the room's own cinema, its concierge and its newsstand - all on the remote the guest already knows.
Live TV, without a dish
More than 5,000 free streaming channels from the major free-to-air streaming providers - curated lists per language, guest favourites, and a player that heals its own streams before anyone reaches for the remote.
Free-to-air and publicly accessible streams only: no pay-TV, no DRM, no exclusive-rights sport, no geo-blocked channels. Read the Live TV notice.
The Streaming Guide
What should we watch tonight - and where? A wall of the week's trending titles for the guest's region, where-to-watch on every title, and trailers that play right on the TV's apps.
Their apps, your menu
Guests sign in with their own accounts and watch in full quality. Hold Back for three seconds inside any app and your menu appears over it; one press returns them exactly where they left off.
Movies, music & radio
The property's own video library with Continue Watching, YouTube on the big screen, and thousands of internet radio stations, browsable by genre - pin the ones that suit the room and they stay in favourites. Idle screens wear museum art from The Met or your own photography instead of a black mirror.
Informed, quietly
Not a ticker: a full-screen news channel. One story at a time with its source and how long ago it broke, a headline readable from the bed, and a dot for every story in the run - in the guest's language. You choose what it carries: up to five topics and up to five feeds of your own. Beside it, market cards for the indices you pick, weather with sea state where it matters, and your local guide with QR directions straight to their phone.
One remote, one volume
The same seeking rule in every player, one calibrated room volume across TV, music and video, and full remote navigation everywhere: if the arrows can reach it, OK activates it. The TV's own remote, a Fire TV remote, or the guest's phone via QR code.
The TV takes the order.
Room service, concierge and property information - served on screen, managed from one link, and forgotten at checkout.
In-room dining & services
Guests browse your menu - breakfast, dining, laundry, housekeeping, extras - build a cart, pick a time slot and send the order with the remote. Live status colors follow every order to the room, and owner or charter pricing modes let the same menu show prices or stay discreet.
A concierge panel, no login
One private link gives your staff menus, categories and live orders in a single page - no dashboard account, optional email alerts, and a key you can rotate to revoke every shared copy at once.
An information hub that adapts
Map with your local guide pinned around the property, weather, staff roster, safety plan with a per-room "you are here" marker and evacuation route - and the wording adapts to the property: muster station at sea, assembly point ashore.
Checkout that leaves no trace
At checkout the room returns to its original state: orders, chats, favourites, resume points, theme and language picks - all cleared by your policy. The TV politely reminds guests to sign out of their streaming apps. The next arrival finds a room that has never belonged to anyone else.
The room obeys the screen.
Where the property has a control system - Crestron today, KNX and Tuya next - the same screen that entertains the guest also runs the room, with live state that never lies: flip the wall switch and the screen shows it.
Lights, climate, shades, AV
Every mapped circuit with live state, real room temperature moving to the set point, shades that open, stop and close - with group rows for all shades at once - and AV power, source and volume.
Scenes guests can make theirs
Welcome, Relax, Movie, Night - and a guest can hold a scene tile to record the room exactly as it is now, as a personal per-room copy. Your original is always one tap away.
Suites & sub-rooms
A suite's main screen carries its terrace and bathroom too, with room filters on every panel - while each sub-room's own screen keeps working as a fully independent room.
Secure by activation
Each screen is activated with a one-time code shown on its own glass, so only the room's screen can ever control the room. And if the control system stops responding, the screen says so honestly.

And the part guests never see.
Run the whole property from a browser - the same dashboard whether you manage five rooms or a fleet.
Check-in & check-out
Type a name, press check-in - the room updates in real time. No PMS required - or let your PMS drive it through our API.
Per-room licensing
Pay only for rooms you switch on. Swap a license between rooms in one click; a live meter shows what is in use.
Your brand everywhere
Themes, custom fonts and colors, switchable looks for the whole board - guests can even pick their own for the room.
Room mirroring
Tablet and TV truly mirror each other - menus, Live TV, even a movie starting on both screens.
PIN protection
Master and per-room PINs on display URLs, with brute-force lockout and one-click rotation.
Panel protection
Anti burn-in drift and gentle dimming for OLED panels, screen savers from your own content, playback never interrupted.
27 languages
Guest surfaces and dashboard alike - the room speaks the guest's language from the first screen, and your own wording is translated by AI on the fly.
Always improving
New features land continuously - the release notes are public, read them anytime.

Change it here.
The rooms already have it.
The dashboard is simply a website - open it at the front desk, at home, or from another country. Nothing is installed at the property: no server in a closet, no PC behind reception. Every room's screen is just an address, and the moment you change something, the rooms change with you.
A real canvas
Pages, widgets and layers on a true 1920 x 1080 canvas: drag and resize by hand or type exact pixel values, snap to grid, reorder layers, zoom out to see the whole screen. Copy a page - or a whole linked set of pages - and paste it with every button rewired to the copies.
Live on every screen
Each display holds a live connection to the platform. Push a change and it lands in seconds: a soft refresh updates the widgets in place - nothing blinks, a playing channel keeps playing - or a full refresh reloads the screen completely.
One room, or all of them
The same push reaches a single room's screen or the whole property at once - and when we ship an update to the platform itself, large fleets are woken in waves rather than all in the same second.
Hardware you can lose
Because the board lives in the cloud and the screen is only an address, the stick is disposable: replace a dead one, point it at the same address, and the room returns exactly as it was - same pages, same menu, same channels.
What guests actually see.
Live screens from the platform, from our hotel and marine demos - your property wears your own logo, colors and theme.

Welcome, by name
Good evening, Raffaello - every room greets its guest, in the guest's language.

A hotel welcome
The room's own welcome page: greeting, your photography, hotel information and the menu rail - before a single button is pressed.

The phone as remote
Scan the QR and the guest's phone drives the screen - while the welcome floats over your imagery and live news runs below.

Dressed in your city
The welcome wears whatever you choose: your photography, your city, your light.
In the room
The system alive on the wall, exactly as guests find it when they step in.

Home
Weather, time and the four worlds of the stay - one glance from any screen.

Watch
Streaming apps, Live TV, satellite and the property's own movie library, side by side.

Live TV
Hundreds of live channels, browsable without ever leaving the picture.

Movies
The in-house cinema: recently added, genres, and Continue Watching that follows the guest.

Infotainment
Navigation with live ETA, weather and sea state, the local guide and the safety plan - the same screen that entertains also tells the guest exactly where they are.

Scenes
One touch, a perfect environment: Good Morning, Relax, Movie, Goodnight.
Lights down
Evening: the screen dims with the room and keeps the picture alive.
Touch a real room.
Not a mockup and not a video: the screen below is a live HtlApp display, the same one a guest would find on the wall. Click it, open the menu, walk the channels. The demo runs for 15 seconds - the full experience comes with your own free trial.
You get your own instance of the showroom room, so nobody else is steering your screen. Live TV, streaming apps and room controls behave exactly as they do in a real room - they are simply time-limited here.
One platform.
Three kinds of home.
Tell HtlApp what the property is and it speaks that language throughout - sections, icons, wording and even the map change with the address.
From five keys to five hundred.
The front desk lives in a browser: check-in, room status and licensing at a glance - while every room's TV earns its keep.
- Per-room pages and menus - pool suites see the pool page
- Local guide, staff roster and safety with assembly point
- Bandwidth-planned for 5 to 50+ room properties
At sea, it sails as AboardOS.
The same platform, dressed for the water: our marine edition carries navigation with live ETA, crew roster, muster safety and charter-discreet pricing.
- Route on a live chart, sea state beside the forecast
- Cabin controls: lights, shades, climate, entertainment
- Suite screens carry their terrace and bathroom too
A welcome without a front desk.
The house manual becomes a beautiful, remote-navigable screen: arrival info, contacts, the pool rules, your favourite restaurants - and the same cinema-grade TV.
- Home wording: contacts instead of staff, floor plan safety
- Guests wipe their own data - or checkout does it for you
- One dashboard for every property you manage
The questions
everyone asks first.
Bandwidth, wiring, who installs it, what it costs to begin - answered plainly, with numbers we measured rather than numbers we hoped for.
How much bandwidth
About 20 Mbit covers ten rooms. A television actually watching live TV takes roughly 4 Mbit, and the player adapts down to whatever the line gives it. Ten rooms never watch live at the same moment - half the property is on its own streaming apps - so plan for half the rooms, not all of them.
Wired or Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is enough, and it is how most rooms run - give them honest 5 GHz coverage and live TV behaves. Where a cable already reaches, use it: an NVIDIA Shield, a Google TV set and a Fire TV Stick with its Ethernet adapter all take one. Nothing else in the room needs a network port.
Who installs it
Whoever is free that afternoon. Plug the stick into HDMI and power, point it at the room's address once, and the screen is live: about five minutes a room, no cabling, no ladder, no technician, no site survey. It is easier than the set-top box it replaces, and a whole floor goes up between check-outs and check-ins.
What it costs to begin
The subscription, and one certified device per room: a Fire TV Stick HD or 4K, an NVIDIA Shield, or a current-generation Sony professional TV. You buy it where you like and it stays yours - but it does have to be one of those three, because guest TV is demanding and slower Android TV hardware cannot keep up. No installation fee, no minimum order, nothing proprietary to buy from us.
Nothing for a guest to learn
No app to install, no account to create, no laminated card explaining the television. The remote already in their hand moves through everything, the room opens in their own language from the first screen, and a QR code turns their phone into the remote for anyone who would rather use it.
Always showing off!
The screen is not only info and entertainment: it wears museum art or your own photography. Check someone in and their name is on it seconds later - the guest opens the door and the TV is already welcoming them.
See it in motion.
The first film is HtlApp in a hotel room. The others were shot for AboardOS, the marine edition of the same platform - the same engine, dressed for the sea.
Per room. In the open.
You license rooms with TV, not software seats - creating and preparing rooms is free and unlimited, and the main display is always included. Buy online, activate today.
